KATE GET'S A GREAT HOME!

Dear Friends and Bullie Lovers,
It was hard for me to let her go and say good bye as I loved Kate so much but she packed her bags and has moved in with her wondeful new mom.
Her new mom is retired, recently lost her husband and was looking for a good companion and she found that in Kate.
Kate will be very much loved and taken care of and has found that perfect golden girl to spend her golden years with which is what Kate truly deserves!

It was an honor to be able to foster and help Kate find her new forever home.

You be good Kate Kate Kate, I will be checking up on you!

KATE UPDATE

Hello Bulldog Lovers,

Kate is doing very well.
After a lot of research and thought I decided not to have Kate's tail amputated. With some light cleaning and the right medication her tail has healed perfectly and has not bothered her since. Kate has mild allergies and they have played a huge role with her tail.
She feels so much better that she has started to wrestle with her foster sibling Thurston and likes to burn a bullie lap a few times a day.
She is a very sweet girl.

Check back for an update soon.

Kate would also like to thank her sponsors as it means so much to her. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

KATE UPDATE

Hi Folks,
Kate is feeling better after KC/pneumonia and was able to go get a check up from the vet.

Kate DOES have very little vision, her ears are good and clean, her teeth are good and she is at a great weight of 47.5 pounds.

However she has suffered long term neglect of her tail and will now need to have it amputated to eliminate all of the suffering from infections. It will make her feel like a new girl and I know she will be happier with out all of the pain and itching it has caused her. She deserves to live her golden years pain and itch free as it has also been very painful for her to even just have her tail cleaned.
She will be having her surgery on Aug 28th and will need a few weeks of recovery time. So please wish her a safe and speedy recovery.

Check back for all of the surgery dettails, photos and to see how sweet Kate is doing.

Kate's foster mom,
Kodie

KATE UPDATE

Hi There,
Kate went to the vet and had kennel cough/pneumonia, so I have been letting her rest as we clear this up first.
I continue to work on cleaning her ears, tail and those nails.
She is a very sweet girl, she loves to sleep, eat, be brushed and petted, she also likes to find a sunny spot outside to lay in.

Her vision is not good nor will it ever be, she does still see and can get around just fine (especially when you have a treat in your hand *LOL*)

Please check back for her updates.

P.S. I would also like to thank her sponsor's Deborah and Lou, thank you so much for helping Kate.

WELCOME KATE

Kate was dumped off at a local shelter by her owners because they no longer wanted to take care of her.

Kate has dry eye and needs the proper medicine for it, the lack of care has compromised her vision and her vision is now limited. I am hoping with the right medicine that her vision may get better, but don’t let this fool you, she get’s around just fine.

Her ears were so swollen, dirty, red and filled with gunk that she did not want me to touch them, this would also explain maybe why she does not hear very well right now. Her ears are doing a lot better now and will continue to get better each and everyday as I clean them out.

Her nails were so long that they were curled under to her pads and made it uncomfortable for her to walk. Her rear end looked like it should be on a baboon, bright red, itchy, swollen, sores and her tail has been seriously neglected.

Kate is a very good and sweet lady and just wants to be cared for like she deserves.

She will be going to the vet this weekend for a complete check up so stay tuned for her details.
